Scared

I have used this app sporadically for a while and a like it except the swipe from the edge to access the settings, etc., is terrible on an iPhone 6s, as in impossible.
But what really bothers me is I see nothing in this nor updates in over a year?? Really?! I think this company is kaput. Anybody know for sure??
